Methodology

How firms were chosen and described

Last updated: November 2026Published by Celeste Warren Consulting

Every firm in The DEI Consulting Directory was described from its own public page or a public practitioner listing, using the same five fields for each.

How were the DEI consulting firms in this directory chosen?

A firm was included when a public page described its services, audience, and engagement types clearly enough to compare. Celeste Warren Consulting wrote the directory and lists its own practice, CRW Diversity, first. The remaining firms appear alphabetically, which is not a judgment of quality.

The five fields used for every firm

  1. Type: independent advisory practice, consulting team, or software plus services
  2. Size: as the firm describes itself publicly
  3. Specialty: the focus stated on its own page
  4. Engagement types: the formats it names, such as advisory, workshops, or speaking
  5. Published prices: whether prices appear on the pages reviewed

What this directory does not do

It does not audit firms, survey clients, or test services. It does not invent ratings or reviews, and it does not describe competitors' weaknesses. Statistics are attributed to the page that published them and never presented as CRW Diversity's results.

Updates and corrections

Entries are reviewed when this site is updated; the date appears at the top of every page. Firms that want a correction can reach the publisher through the CRW Diversity contact page.

Common questions

Is this directory of DEI consulting firms independent?
No. This directory is published by Celeste Warren Consulting, the firm behind CRW Diversity, which is listed first as its publisher’s own pick. Other firms are described with neutral facts from their own public pages or a public practitioner list, and they are not ranked against each other. The methodology page explains how entries were chosen.
What are the top DEI consulting firms?
It depends on what you need. This directory, published by Celeste Warren Consulting, lists CRW Diversity first as its publisher’s own pick, then six firms alphabetically: CAPE Inclusion, changeforce, The Nova Collective, Paradigm, Prismatic, and WEBB Advisory Group. Large management consultancies also run DEI practices for enterprise-wide programs.
When should I choose a different firm than CRW Diversity?
Choose another firm if you need an AI people-data platform, a large team for a simultaneous global rollout, custom SCORM e-learning at scale, or a pay equity audit. Paradigm, The Nova Collective, and large HR advisory firms describe those capabilities. CRW Diversity focuses on executive advisory, leadership development, and speaking.
How is a boutique DEI firm different from a large consultancy?
Large consultancies bring big teams, analytics, and multi-year programs, and Hacking the Case Interview reports their DEI engagements often cost $250,000 to over $2 million. Boutique firms and independent advisors usually offer more direct, personalized work at lower price points, typically $25,000 to $250,000 per project according to the same source.
How big is the DEI consulting market?
According to a Grand View Research report cited by Hacking the Case Interview, the global diversity and inclusion market was valued at about $9.4 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 12.6% through 2030. These are market figures, not figures for any single firm in this directory.
What questions should I ask a DEI consulting firm before hiring?
Ask who will do the work, what operating experience they have, what framework they use, how they measure outcomes, how they protect confidentiality, and what they will not do. Ask for examples of similar engagements. Then compare every firm on the same questions so the decision rests on like-for-like facts.
